Meeting Reservations

Thank you for thinking of The 577 Foundation to host your event. We understand that there are multiple facilities to choose from and your decision to hold your upcoming event at our facility is appreciated. Educational programming stands as the cornerstone of 577’s mission, fostering understanding and appreciation for science, art, craft, history, culture, ecology, and the environment. We sincerely thank you for standing with us in this mission. Please be aware that, in accordance with our commitment to education, classes will always receive precedence over rental requests. Your support through meeting reservations contributes significantly to the success of 577’s educational programs, and for that, we express our heartfelt gratitude.

Types of Meetings & Events

577 offers two historic spaces, the Cottage and Virginia’s House, to community organizations, schools, governmental organizations, and community-minded corporations for strategic planning, trainings, and retreats.

Because these spaces are shared for educational and community benefit, they are not available to be used for personal social gatherings like parties, showers, reunions, or weddings. These spaces are not to be used for sales, commercial, or promotional purposes including fundraising events.

577 is now offering personalized class experiences designed for groups of all ages and skill levels. A variety of workshop options are available to add a class to your rental reservation or as a standalone experience. Contact us at hello@577foundation.org for more details.

Virginia’s House now hosts dozens of classes for the community each month. The House is also utilized as a semi-private meeting space that can accommodate up to thirty people. Most areas of the first floor are wheelchair accessible. The space also offers a private bathroom and parking in close proximity.

This historic meeting space features multiple rooms available for rent. Wifi and limited AV equipment (screen) are available for use in the Library and Dining Room. All spaces except for the Screened Porch are heated and air-conditioned.
