We are surrounded by color and, as creatures who appreciate beauty, we try to capture the intricacy and vibrance in our work. Both local residents, Pat Piper and Pat Szymanowski have a passion for creativity and paper crafts. Pat and Pat delight in 577’s welcoming atmosphere, the fun and knowledgeable instructors, and the “wild but well-kept” nature of our gardens and grounds. They would like everyone to know that “It’s comfortable here. Come try it, you don’t have to be perfect. We all start somewhere.”

Say Hello to Sarah! Sarah is a community instructor who loves teaching at 577 because of part of our mission; to be a place of healing through art, gardening, nature, curiosity, and lifelong learning. She knew she wanted to be a part of it.
TSA String Quartet will be playing classical tunes from 11am to 1pm, followed by the enchanting harp music of Rebecca Swett from 2pm to 3pm. And as a special treat, Swanky Scoops will be there with delicious ice cream! Plus, select areas of Virginia’s House will be open for tours and activities from 11am to 3pm.
