Pat and Pat delight in 577’s welcoming atmosphere, the fun and knowledgeable instructors, and the “wild but well-kept” nature of our gardens and grounds. National Pollinator Week takes place in June and is one full week of the year that commemorates and appreciates the work of these pollinator friends. But, more importantly, what can we do as individuals and as a community to help pollinators beyond this special week?

Say Hello to Sarah! Sarah is a community instructor who loves teaching at 577 because of part of our mission; to be a place of healing through art, gardening, nature, curiosity, and lifelong learning. She knew she wanted to be a part of it.

TSA String Quartet will be playing classical tunes from 11am to 1pm, followed by the enchanting harp music of Rebecca Swett from 2pm to 3pm. And as a special treat, Swanky Scoops will be there with delicious ice cream! Plus, select areas of Virginia’s House will be open for tours and activities from 11am to 3pm.
