Both local residents, Pat Piper and Pat Szymanowski have a passion for creativity and paper crafts. Pat and Pat delight in 577’s welcoming atmosphere, the fun and knowledgeable instructors, and the “wild but well-kept” nature of our gardens and grounds. They would like everyone to know that “It’s comfortable here. Come try it, you don’t have to be perfect. We all start somewhere.”

Music in the Gardens ~ Saturday, June 8

TSA String Quartet will be playing classical tunes from 11am to 1pm, followed by the enchanting harp music of Rebecca Swett from 2pm to 3pm. And as a special treat, Swanky Scoops will be there with delicious ice cream! Plus, select areas of Virginia’s House will be open for tours and activities from 11am to 3pm.

Isabelle is one of 577’s Program Coordinators. She’s a member of the Education department where she teaches fine art classes and has a key role in coordinating operations in the Welcome Center and Curiosity Shop. Learn more about her journey at 577 and her upcoming classes!

Discover & Create: May classes open for registration this Wednesday, March 26, at 9am. The Welcome Center &  Curiosity Shop is open Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm.
