Something new is happening after hours at 577 this September.

On Saturday, September 26, the gardens and grounds will stay open a little later for 577 After Hours: An Evening Under the Harvest Moon, a special fundraising event for adults ages 21 and up.

Inspired by the abundance of the harvest season, the evening is an invitation to experience 577 in a whole new way. Wander through the gardens after the grounds would normally close, spend time around the fire, enjoy seasonal flavors, create something by hand, or simply find a quiet place to take in the gardens beneath the evening sky.

An Evening to Wander, Linger, & Explore

From 6pm to 8pm, guests can explore the gardens and select buildings at their own pace while enjoying harvest-inspired grazing stations celebrating seasonal flavors from the garden. Sip hot cider, enjoy beer and wine tastings, listen to live music by the fire, create something by hand, gaze at the moon, browse the Curiosity Shop, and discover special activities tucked throughout the grounds.

There’s no schedule to follow and nowhere you need to be at a particular time. The evening is yours to explore, with plenty of opportunities to slow down, connect, and celebrate the abundance, community, and changing seasons at the heart of the Harvest Moon.

Tickets are $65 per person and include food, drinks, activities, entertainment, a special take-home gift, and more throughout the evening.

An Evening That Gives Back

Proceeds from 577 After Hours: An Evening Under the Harvest Moon will support 577’s Growing Fund.

The Growing Fund supports the Community Garden program, which provides thousands of pounds of organically grown produce to local food banks. It also supports the ongoing care and renewal of trees throughout the gardens and grounds and helps 577’s horticulturists maintain the beautiful landscapes that inspire a sense of awe and wonder for visitors of all ages.

By spending an evening under the Harvest Moon, guests will also be helping care for the gardens, programs, and growing spaces that make experiences at 577 possible throughout the year.
