Spring has arrived, and so has one of our favorite traditions — 577’s Annual Plant Sale! Join us in the Courtyard next to the Welcome Center & Curiosity Shop the first weekend in May to shop a vibrant selection of organically grown veggies, herbs, and flowers, all lovingly cultivated by our horticulturists, Bennett and Samantha.

Opening Day: Saturday, May 2, 9am–5pm
Continues: Sunday, May 3, 9am–5pm

After the weekend, any remaining plants will be available for purchase in the Welcome Center & Curiosity Shop during regular hours, Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

  • Bring a box or bag. If you plan to purchase multiple plants, bringing your own box, bag, or flat will make it easier to carry your new garden treasures.
  • Sales tax applies to all purchases.
  • Fundraiser: All proceeds directly support 577’s programs, services, buildings, and gardens — thank you for supporting our mission!

We can’t wait to see you soon — happy planting!

Inspired by conversations and creativity shared at the Ohio Arts Council’s Arts Impact Ohio conference, Executive Director Heather Gallant reflects on artist David Zinn’s playful work and the “fear of the blank canvas” many people experience when trying something new creatively. Through stories about art, process, and joy, Heather reminds us that creativity is less about perfection and more about curiosity, connection, and making space for wonder in everyday life.
