Celebrate National Reading Month with 577’s Buy 2, Get 2 Free Book & Magazine Sale
March is National Reading Month, a time to celebrate the joy of reading and sharing stories with others. Whether it’s a favorite childhood book, a recipe you return to again and again, or a new story waiting to be discovered, reading has a special way of bringing people together.
To mark the occasion, the Welcome Center & Curiosity Shop at 577 is kicking off its popular Buy 2, Get 2 Free Book & Magazine Sale beginning Thursday, March 5.
Visitors will find a wide variety of titles to explore, from cookbooks and fiction to children’s favorites and beloved nonfiction. It’s a great opportunity to pick out a few books for yourself, discover something new, or choose a story to share with a friend or family member.
While visiting, guests are also invited to take a little extra time to browse the Curiosity Shop shelves. The shop features a rotating selection of creative and thoughtful items, including art supplies, handmade pottery, community artwork, and unique gifts. Every purchase helps support 577’s mission of connecting people to art, nature, and lifelong learning.
The Buy 2, Get 2 Free Book & Magazine Sale runs through Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Free items must be of equal or lesser value than those purchased. The sale does not include food items, art and craft supplies, pottery, Community Artists books, or the 577 Foraging Guide. No refunds or exchanges.
