Calling All Creative, Curious College Students

577’s Spring 2026 Program Internship is Now Open

Did you know 577 offers paid internship opportunities throughout the year for college students interested in the arts, education, marketing, and community engagement? Whether you’re pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies, our Program Internship is a hands-on, real-world opportunity to grow your skills while supporting 577’s mission of curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Each semester, our interns play a key role in making things run smoothly—from moderating in-person and online classes, assisting with the monthly StoryWalk® installation, and welcoming visitors at the Curiosity Shop, to supporting special events like Music in the Gardens. Interns also help create promotional content, contribute to marketing efforts, and take on special projects based on their interests and strengths.

And perhaps the most exciting part? Interns have the opportunity to design and teach one or two of their own community classes! Over the past few years, our interns have taught courses in watercolor, printmaking, embroidery, photography, natural crafts, and more.

The Spring 2026 Program Internship runs from January to May and is open to students who:

  • Have completed foundational college-level art or design coursework (or are studying in a field aligned with 577’s mission),
  • Are available to work 15 to 35 hours per week, including occasional evenings and Saturdays,
  • Bring strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and a team-oriented attitude,
  • Are eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution.

This internship pays $11 per hour and can be customized to meet your school’s academic requirements.

Ready to bring your ideas to life and be part of something creative, collaborative, and community-driven?
