Inspired by conversations and creativity shared at the Ohio Arts Council’s Arts Impact Ohio conference, Executive Director Heather Gallant reflects on artist David Zinn’s playful work and the “fear of the blank canvas” many people experience when trying something new creatively. Through stories about art, process, and joy, Heather reminds us that creativity is less about perfection and more about curiosity, connection, and making space for wonder in everyday life.
